TRANSLUCENTS
There are two methods of applying the translucent colours shown here.
The first method is to base coat the piece in silver, then apply the translucent colour. This technique gives the effect that is shown on these samples. As this is a two step application, please add $ 20.00 to price shown for this finish.
The second method os to excessively grind the piece, leaving grinder marks then apply the translucent colour over top. These grinder marks show through the finish, catching the light and creating a very unique look. Please check out the Set of 3 Butterflies in the Garden Art section for an example of this technique.

These powders are made with a high silicone content which allows the finish to withstand temperatures of 1000 degrees farenheight. This makes these colours excellent choices for header or exhaust manifold applications.
